Join us for a three-mile guided walk through Valley Forge National Historical Park, hosted by Colonel (ret) John McFassel. Each walk begins with a summary of the first two years of the American Revolution and an overview of the British campaign plan for 1777, including the Philadelphia campaign that immediately preceded the Valley Forge encampment. John Whiteside, a VFPA volunteer with the Valley Forge Muster Roll, will share documented stories of the fascinating people who were a part of the Valley Forge encampment and also discuss some of the monuments.

During this walk, we will take a closer look at the battles for the Delaware River at Fort Mifflin and Fort Mercer.
