Join us for a three-mile guided walk through Valley Forge National Historical Park. Each walk begins with a summary of the first two years of the American Revolution and an overview of the British campaign plan for 1777, including the Philadelphia campaign that immediately preceded the Valley Forge encampment.
In recognition of the anniversary of the Battle of Paoli (sometimes called the Paoli Massacre), this walk will take a closer look at the events of September 20, 1777, and their role in the professional development of General Anthony Wayne.
