Explore the American Revolution's Portrayal in Movies, TV, and Musicals

Explore the American Revolution's portrayal in movies, television, and musicals.

The Valley Forge Park Alliance invites you to a Lunch & Learn featuring Emily Wright, Park Guide at Valley Forge National Historical Park, as we explore how the American Revolution and Valley Forge are portrayed in movies, television, and musicals.

From Hollywood blockbusters to Broadway sensations, pop culture shapes how we understand history—sometimes accurately, sometimes not. This discussion will dive into what these portrayals get right, what they get wrong, and which aspects of the Revolution get the most attention.

Bring your lunch, bring your curiosity, and join us for this fascinating look at history through the lens of pop culture!
