Known as kill-devil in the 1600's and referred to "colonialism in a bottle" today, rum was the drink that drove the American Revolution. This by product of the sugar trade quickly became an icon of the new world. Drank by pirates, sailors, and allegedly, Paul Revere on his way to Lexington. Rum toasted the Declaration of Independence and was rationed to soldiers at Valley Forge. Join Ranger Adam as he takes you on a sugary trek around the new world to tell you the history of this revolutionary spirit.
